President expected in Parliament - Lawmakers hope Margvelashvili`s report will be impartial

 

Parliament is preparing for the President`s annual address which will take place tomorrow. The ruling majority hope that the President`s speech on the situation in the country will be objective. Georgian Dream beleives that the ruling party has taken a lot of very useful and necessary steps recently.

The oppositionalso expects an objective assessment of the situation in the country from the President.

"The media is controlled, the judiciary system is controlled by one political group, the Presidential Institute is being weakened and the constitutional changes are being made to maintain political power," - said the head of the National Movement faction, Roman Gotsiridze.

Deputy Chairman of the faction of the Movement for Freedom - European Georgia, Sergi Kapanadze believes, the President`s speech is a good opportunity to discuss the situation in the country.
