Murder in the occupied Abkhazia. A husband and a wife were killed in the village of Sida in Gali district Sophie and Gia Tsurtsumia were killed with a gun in their yard.

Presumably, the perpetrator is known. According to relatives, he is local and he was named by Gia Tsutsumia before he died. The motive of the killing is unknown. One of the named reasons is extortion.
