A part of non-parliamentary opposition leaves the Constitutional Commission in a protest. Nika Machutadze, a Chairman of Movement For People made an announcement at a special briefing today.

Reportedly he starts a non-partisan, inter- party, constitutional movement in order to defend the constitution. He called upon his colleagues, to distance themselves from the Constitutional Commission

" A goal of the so-called Constitutional reform is to expand the informal governance through absorbing democratic institutions,"- said Nika Machutadze.

According to him, the Constitutional amendments cancel direct presidential elections and National Security Council.

" The government and this Constitutional Commission destroy the constitution,"- stated nIka Machutadze.
