A Deputy Secretary of National Security Council comments on the so called referendum, held in Tskhinvali. Vano Machavariani underlines that the process is illegal.
" The President has already made an announcement in this regard and of course, it contradicts the international law, especially when a large part of population is expelled from their homes. Holding such referendum is illegal, it contradicts the Constitution of Georgia as well as International law and basic norms. We condemn it,"- said Vano Machavariani.
