Occupying border in Abkhazia is closed and security measures are strengthened. Russian Foreign Minister is expected in Sukhumi Sergey Lavrov will discuss bilateral relations with Raul Khajimba and will open a Russian embassy on the occupied territory of Georgia .

Opposition accuses Georgian government of inactivity. They think that these issues should be discussed aloud at the international platforms and Russia should be responsible for its actions.

The opposition believes that the visikt of Russia`s first diplomat in Sukhumi is continuation of the annexation policy.the occupied territories.

These allegations are not shared by the authorities who say that they are using all means to repudiate Russia"s actions.

Sergei Lavrov will stay in occupied Abkhazia on April 18 and 19. The Russian Foreign Ministry does not yet specify any concrete issues that are on the agenda of meetings between the occupation regime and the Russian diplomat.
