European Georgia calls on the authorities to hold a plebiscite on the rule of electing the president and transition to the proportional system.before the final approval of constitutional amendments,

 "Those changes, which are in the package developed by the Georgian Dream, are harmful to the interests of our country and our citizens. Ask our citizens now through plebiscite, whether they support the two key issues - the president`s elections by the parliament and the proportional system where the mandates are not equally distributed and all undistributed mandates go to the winning party,"- Giga Bokeria said.

The National Movement says that the proposed draft of constitution is tailored to the interests of the government and the Georgian Dream will not compromise.
