Hungarian Prime Minister meets with President of Georgia and Chairman of Parliamen

The meeting between Giorgi Margvelashvili and the Prime Minister of Hungary has ended. The President of Georgia thanked the Hungarian Prime Minister for supporting Georgia`s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

At the meeting the sides discussed Georgia`s Euro-Atlantic integration process and the upcoming NATO Summit.

The Hungarian Prime Minister noted that Georgia is one of the most important countries in the region and is part of the European civilization, which has a strong identity. Viktor Orban has confirmed Hungary`s interest and desire to strengthen economic cooperation with Georgia and to further encourage trade.

Discussions also focused on the issues of cooperation in the field of education. At the meeting, the President of Georgia emphasized the importance of the country"s trade and economic potential and the importance of Georgia as a transit country.
Secretary of the National Security Council noted that the Hungarian Prime Minister sees Georgia as a good political partner.

The Hungarian Prime Minister also met with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia today.
