The car of Samvel Manukjan, a majoritarian MP of Akhalkalaki-Ninotsminda was set on fire last night. As it is known, the car was parked in front of the MP`s house when a neighbor saw how an unidentified person poured petrol over the car and set it on fire. The criminal fled immediately as the neighbor approached , but left over the evidence.

The residents called firebrigades but they were able to put out the fire themselves until the brigade arrived.

The MP does not speakon specific details, however, he does not exclude that the fact of burning of the car is related to his activities.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched investigation under Article 187 of the Criminal Code.
