Non-parliamentary opposition assesses the draft law developed by the Constitutional Commission. According to Giorgi Gugava, political secretary of the Labor Party of Georgia, the constitutional amendments are aimed at stealing the mandates.

"With this constitutional draft law, each citizen of this country has been stripped of his rights.They prohibited the direct election of the president, and prohibited the election of a parliament that would be fair and they legitimated stealing of mandates. This is directed against every citizen and everyone is obliged to defend our country, our freedom and our sovereign rights in order not to let Ivanishvili to finally turn this country into his Lltd, " - Giorgi Gugava said.
