Parliament will begin working on the draft constitutional amendments this week and the document will be finalized at the autumn session. Special statement was made by the political movement State for People regarding this issue today.

At today"s briefing, it became known that consultations between political parties and various representatives of the society are underway. From tomorrow, they will start campaigning with a motto "Let`s save the Constitution".

The Chairperson of the State for People Party states that the draft constitutional amendments reflect the interests not of the people but of the ruling party.

"No political consensus can be made with the usurpation text . With deep respect we call on the Georgian society to unite around this issue. The general public movement for the Georgian state begins. The constitution is to be saved, "said Nika Machutadze.
