Movement Defend The Constitution begins civil activity. Parliamentary, non-parliamentary opposition and non-governmental organizations adopted a declaration today, which included all remarks on the changes which are unacceptable in the main law of the country.

The signatories of the declaration say the abolition of the election blocs and not decreasing of a 5% threshold is a step back. Several points also refer to the rule of electing of the president and the authority of the chief commander.

Non-parliamentary opposition names as one of the main problems, consensus on constitutional amendments.

The majority advices the opposition to get involved in the universal public discussions of constitutional amendments instead of adopting a declaration.
