There are more than 2,000 homeless children in Georgia. Although the legislation prohibits juveniles from working and exploitation, concrete facts remain unresolved.

The World Vision Georgia demands identification of victims of street exploitation and protection of their rights at the level of legislation. The new campaign was started by the organization working on street children and helping them improve their lives. Georgia has joined the global campaign against violence against children.

The UN Children`s Fund indicates the necessity of more involvement from the government. There are 5 special centers in the country. The problem of most homeless children is still unresolved because of the lack of shelters .
