Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Shalva Khutsishvili responds to the visit of former Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov to Georgia.

Mr. Khutsishvili says that according to preliminary data, Luzhkov entered Georgia legally and his documents were in order.

According to Shalva Khutsishvili, the border guards did not have the basis for violation of the Law of Georgia on Occupied Territories.

According to the deputy minister, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has started investigation on violation of the law on occupation.

"The rest is the subject of further clarification. He had legal document in which there was no data data on visiting occupied territories. Therefore the guard did not have a formal basis to make another decision, "said Shalva Khutsishvili said.
