To celebrate May 9th, the 72nd anniversary of the victory over fascism, the head of Georgian Orthodox Church - Ilia the second visited and blessed an unknown soldier’s grave. The Georgian Patriarch congratulated veterans of World War II for their victory. 72 years have passed since the victory over fascism and for that reason there are celebratory events planned in Vake Park.
