Prime Minister of Georgia has responded to the accident in Mindeli mine on his facebook page . Kvirikashvili expressed sympathy for the family members of mine workers and said that the relevant groups will work in the mine in order to quickly implement miners rescue operation.

"At this difficult time I would like to express support to the miner`s families.I receive information from the relevant departments on the tragic events on the ground. Members of the government and local authorities are present on the ground. Relevant groups will work in Mindeli mine in order to promptly implement rescue operation and also to determine the cause of the tragedy, "- said PM in a statement.
