The OSCE holds the Media Freedom Conference for South Caucasus countries for the fourteenth time in Tbilisi. The meeting will discuss all the issues that are considered problematic for the media. One of the most important topics of this year was the spread of false information and propaganda, a small incident followed the discussion of this issue in the hall.

"Itwas said that the web page Politicano was one of thesources of spreading of fake information, the representative of the organization behaved in an uncivilized way and in the presence of all the guests tore the materials published by the non-governmental that was reporting on the issue of fake news,"- said Nino Nakashidze, Deputy Director General of Rustavi 2 Broadcasting Company.

The conference also discussed the Rustavi2 issue.

"The topic of discussion at our today`s meeting was dissemination of fake information and propaganda. The discussions is based on the situation in the South Caucasus countries and concrete examples, "- said Frane Maroević, Director of the OSCE Media Freedom Office.
