The Batumi City Hall refused to i construct a mosque in Abashidze Street. The statement was made by the chairman of the Georgian Muslim Union. According to Tariel Nakaidze, the Muslims bought the territory as a result of the donation - the document confirming that have already been handed over to the City Hall.
The head of the Georgian Muslim Union assesses the decision of the City Hall as a political decision and announces the protest rallies.
"Of course, we will appeal this decision and will also plan permanent actions," - said Tariel Nakaidze, chairman of the Georgian Muslim Union.
Batumi City Hall has not responded to the allegations yet.
