The Ministry of Defense of Georgia expresses deep sorrow over the death of the officer, David Sikharulidze, during attack in the village of Novolugansk, Donetsk region of Ukraine, and expresses condolences to the family of the deceased.

The Ministry of Defense of Georgia released a statement of condolences.

Davit Sikharulidze served at the Krtsanisi Training Center for Education in 2010-2014. In 2014, he left the armed forces by his personal decision and left for Ukraine.

The Georgian Armed Forces Response Officer, Davit Sikharulidze, died two days ago near the village of Novolugansk.
