Streets in Tbilisi will be closed due to scheduled rallies

Streets are blocked in Tbilisi due to the planned rallies. In this regard, the Ministry has released a statement.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs informs you that movement on several streets inTbilisi will be banned in order to protect public order and security regarding the rallies scheduled for May 17 .

The Rose Square will be closed on May 16 at 21:00. On May 17, at 9:30 am the movement will be banned for all types of vehicles on Freedom Square, as well as on Rustaveli Avenue and all adjucent streets.

The vehicles will move along via bypass roads.The transport movement will be restored as soon as the rallies are over, " - the statement reads
