Co-chair of the Geneva Talks may be summoned to the Foreign Ministry for explanations tomorrow. After the scandalous statement made in Tskhinvali, the German diplomat arrived in occupied Abkhazia this time. Herbert Salber together with the Geneva co-chairs toured the closed for the Georgian population checkpoints and addressed the representatives of the occupational regime as colleagues.

It is still unknown how will the official Tbilisi will respond to unfriendly statements of the diplomat. The fact is that there is no single position in the country`s goverment at this time.

Unlike the government, the parliamentary opposition is demanding the removal of Herbert Salber from the Geneva discussions due to his unfriendly statements . The ruling team also believes that the German diplomat will be called back by Brussels.

Herbert Salber will arrive in Georgia from Abkhazia tomorrow. Presumably, the Georgian Foreign Ministry will summon him tomorrow.
