The members of the government commission yesterday listened to 9 candidates for the postion of the judge in the European Court of Justice. The interview process lasted for more than 12 hours. Constantine Vardzelashvili, the former judge of the Constitutional Court was among the candidates.

According to the candidatesome of the critical questions at the interview were related to the issue of Rustavi 2 - specifically, whether decisions made by the Constitutional Court was politically motivated and the chair of the commission was interested in this issue.

" These questions had several members of the commission. If you are interested in whether or not this kind of question was asked by the chairperson of the commission, yes I can confirm that she had such a question, including Rustavi 2, "-Konstantine Vardzelashvili said.

Later Tea Tsulukiani responded to this issue raised by Konstantin Vardzelashvili , who denied her interest in Rustavi 2 issue.
