The Public Defender, Ucha Nanuashvili, presented the report which focuses on children"s rights and violence against them in connection with the International Children`s Day,
Ucha Nanuashvili talked about the alarming rate of infant mortality. Last year, 511 children from 0 to 1 year old died in Georgia.

"The scale of violence against children is still high and we have concrete facts in the report. Child poverty is also one of the key issues. Georgia still has a high place of infant mortality, "- Ucha Nanuashvili said.
