The State Audit Office publishes a report on the activities in 2016. The controlling agency has studied various ministries and projects implemented by them. Different types of deficiencies were identified in the financial part, which amounted to several million GEL.

"In total the agency carried out 71 audits, which amounted to a total of 10.3 billion lari. The total volume of violations revealed by the audits amounted to 71 million GEL, including the volume of deficiencies in procurement management - 32 million 8,000 GEL, budget management resources - 33 million 4 thousand GEL, 5 million GEL in asset management "- said Nino Lomjaria.

The State Audit Office is also inspecting the City Hall, which relates to scandalous land transfer to the former Chief Prosecutor of Georgia.

However, the issue was not included in the current report. Nino Lomjaria, the deputy head of the Audit Office, explained that the reason for this is that this particular fact took place in the current year and the publication of the report is related to the activities of the State Audit in the past years.

"At this stage I can not tell you what gaps were identified in the City Hall because the current audit is studying issues of managementt. Therefore, whether this kind of issue took place in the City Hall, will be revealed and we will say when the auditis l be completed, "Lomjaria said.
