"There is no permanent body in the Constitution that will work on security issues" - Tina Khidasheli

The country`s security and defense risks and the compliances with these risks of constitutional amendments are discussed in the president`s administration. The discussion is also attended by the Head of the NATO Liaison Office together with Defense and Security experts.

Experts are focusing on the possible shortcomings and problems in security. Former Defense Minister Tina Khidasheli notes that the problem is that there is no permanent body in the constitution that will work on security issues.

Batu Kutelia, Vice President of the Atlantic Council of Georgia, said that Georgia`s security system is an important issue for European and Euro-Atlantic structures, and with the unstable security system Georgia will create more problems to its partners instead of bringing more stability .

Political Council member of the party " European Georgia - Movement for Freedom", Davit Darchiashvili says that security services are not working in national interests.

"Today, security services are not engaged in national interests, we see it every day. Consequently, such issues should start from constitutional design, "- Darchiashvili said.
