The Public Defender and the head of the President`s Administration discussed the amendments to the constitution. The main issue was about the rule of choice of the president and the electoral system.

" I think there are a number of issues on which we have had some opinions as the some standards of human rights are reduced, "- Ucha Nanuashvili said.

It is not clear for the representative of the administration why the Government intends to approve the constitution in the expedited way .

"None of the political parties, neither NGOs, nor the Public Defender, who participated in the Constitutional Commission, supported the draft constitution, so we accept the document that has concent of only one party". It is impossible to call in these conditions of democracy this type of document a constitution, " - said Giorgi Abashishvili.
