Prime Minister of Georgia stated at the Government Meeting that agricultural land as a property of the special importance can alienated only for the Georgian citizen.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the governing team will address the constitutional commission with the initiative to make a record on the rule of alienation of agricultural land.

"The consultation was held in the ruling teamwith participation of the representatives of the government and the parliamentary majority . We have made a decision to apply to the Constitutional Commission with an initiative to make a record in the Constitution according to which the agricultural land will not be alienated for the person who does not have Georgian citizenship. This entry directly echoes the requirements of the largest majority of Georgian citizens. I think it will be a decision that the governing team must take, " Kvirikashvili said.
