Ukrainian citizens, like Georgians, will be able to move in Schengen zone without visa. They signed Visa liberalization agreement with the European Uniono on May 17.

Today, the first passengers traveling from Ukraine to Europe went to the airport to celebrate the event at a solemn ceremony. At the entrance to the terminals, people were standing with the EU flags.

Ukrainians have been waiting for this day a few years. The country started negotiations on visa liberalization with the European Union parallel to Georgia , but it took several months to implement the reforms. From now on, citizens of Ukraine will be able to travel to the Schengen Area countries and enjoy the right to stay their for 90 days.
