Ruling team evaluates the resolution adopted by the European Parliament on the case of Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarly. According to them, estimations given on Georgia are not pleasant for the country"s image, however they do not see anything alarming in this regard. They trust the law enforcement agencies of Georgia.

" They will, call on Georgia, to commit fair investigation. Investigation of this case is the priority, we are obliged to fulfill/ Everyone does it and we monitor,"- said Eka Beselia, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Legal Issues.

Davit Matikashvili, the Deputy Chairman of parliamentary faction : Georgian Dream" states that the resolution focuses on Azerbaijan. However investigation of this case is very important for Georgia.
