Chairman of the Parliament responds to Margvelashvil`s answer to his offer. Kobakhidze spreads a statement on social network and notes that the President is not eager to support the consensus.

Text of the statement:

"It is unfortunate that the President refuted our offer to have a joint live discussion of the president and the chairperson of the Parliament of the constitutional amendments and this fact once again demonstrates that the President is not eager to support the consensus and avoids such a form that would create a full-fledged representation for the public regarding Constitutional changes.

"The president, who has been the main opponent of the constitutional reform for months, should not have problems defending his in the live broadcast in front of the public.

"We once again offer to Giorgi Margvelashvili to give the public the opportunity to hear from the President and the Chairman of the Parliament first hand information about the constitutional amendments."
