Non-governmental organizations accuse the government of unilateral decision-making in an attempt to mislead the public. The case concerns the decision of the ruling party, to keep the majority system .

"Young Lawyer"s Association", "Transparency International" and "Fair Elections" a few minutes ago.

" The decision of the ruling party - to postpone swift to the proportional system is unacceptable. It is completely unclear why we have to take this decision, in terms of months of work of the Constitutional Commissions the number of months worked in the Constitutional Commission, a process was created , and now it turns out that this process is being ignored. One party makes decision and justifies it with the constitution, which is not a democratic step and it is very important for the this step not to be taken by the ruling party,"- said Ana Natsvlishvili.

According to representatives of civil society, the transition to a proportional electoral system should take place for 2020 parliamentary elections .
