The ruling party states that the parliamentary opposition"s protest and the boycott announced to the constitutional project is a targeted campaign. The chairman of the parliamentary committee for legal issues says that the opposition is acting in a preliminarily planned scenario to create an impression that the amendments are made by one political party.
"All this was done in a clear manner. Of course, it was anticipated political scenario. They want to undermine this process and show that the constitutional draft is considered by only one party," - said Eka Beselia.
Tamar Chugoshvili, the Vice Speaker of the Parliament states that the opposition attempts to harm the process.
