The President of the Venice Commission makes the third, strict comment on the constitutional amendments. Gianni Buquicchio has reiterated after arriving to Georgia that the Georgian government"s actions and approval of constitutional amendments, which were not agreed with the Commission, questions all existing agreements.

"It will be sad if the political forces in Georgia will not be able to find a compromise in order to approve constitutional amendments. It is important to have a broader consensus about this important text. We will continue consultations with the majority and the opposition in order to push them to reasonable compromise,"- said .Gianni Buquicchio.

The meeting of the President of the Venice Commission with the Prime Minister of Georgia and the Chairman of the Parliament has recently ended.
