Three shops were flooded on Pekini Street as a result of water pipe damage today. During the rehabilitation work the water pipeline has burst.

Representatives of Tbilisi City Hall are on the spot. According to Lasha Abashidze, Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi, the process of counting loss is underway. According to Abashidze, the damage will be fully reimbursed to those, whose property is flooded.

Due to the damage the Pekini residents have limited access to water supply . Representatives of "Georgian Water and Power" are on the scene. According to Mamuka Kikalishvili, Director of Operating Management of the Company, water supply will be restored within 12 hours.
