Lithuania calls on the Ukrainian government to secure Mikheil Saakashvili`s right to the Ukrainian Citizenship

According to the Lithuanian media, the country`s foreign minister made this statement.

"Saakashvili will be able to defend his rights through a transparent court, and Lithuania will support Ukraine and its leaders in the fight against Russian aggression, support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, but at the same time we emphasize the importance of democracy and the opposition," said Linas Linkevich.

According to Lithuanian media, the country`s foreign minister personally discussed the situation in the telephone conversation with Mikheil Saakashvili.
