The 18-year-old youth was physically assaulted by Rustavi police. Roma Ghonghadze says in conversation with "Inforustavi" that on November 11, the law enforcers first tried to detain him after the beating in the entrance to the house when he managed to run away.

According to Gongadze, after the escape the policemen shot at him several times from the firearm. Locals also found bullets on 9 May Street.

According to the "Courier" information, the prosecutor"s office removed bullets from the locals only a few hours ago. On the same day, Roma Gongadze was interrogated. According to his friends, they stood at one of the shops when the drunken men approached and asked them to leave the area.

According to friends, the police were irritated when asked questions about the need to leave the area.

According to the legislation, the law enforcers have the right to shoot only if their life or other person"s life is in danger. Whether Roma Ghonghadze has committed any offense from this list, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has no answer.

According to the MIA, Gongadze informed the General Inspection about the incident on the same day. However, the agency did not react only because they could not get in touch with the young man.

Now the case is investigated by the Rustavi Prosecutor"s Office. The authorityof the law enforcers participating in the incident, according to the "Courier", has not been stopped yet.
