Delegation of Patriarchate of Georgia left for Moscow


The delegation of the Patriarchate of Georgia left for Moscow. Three bishops will attend the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the patriarchal restoration in the Russian capital.

Despite the invitation of Patriarch Cyril, Ilia II was not able go to to Moscow because of health conditions. He will be substitute by the bishop Shio Mujiri.

Metropolitan Theodore Chuadze will chair the delegation of the Patriarchate.Archbishop Theodore does not rule out that they met with the Patriarch of Russia.

"If such a meeting was held, we will talk about the issues of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali. We always raise questions about Abkhazia and Tskhinvali at any meeting, and we always have this issue on the agenda. It is necessary to talk with any party that can have any positive impact on our relationship, "said Theodore
