In Brussels, NATO Military Committee session was resumed. Head of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces attended the meeting of military officials of the alliance and partner countries.
Alliance representatives discussed the ongoing reforms in defense sphere and future plans of the NATO-Georgia cooperation. The discussion touched upon strengthening the security of the Black Sea region, strengthening the alliance"s activities and increasing Georgia"s engagement in this process.
According to Vladimir Chachibaia, the Alliance has appreciated the progress achieved and thanked Georgia for its contribution to the international security process.
