Rehabilitation of Varketili Metro according to the existing project was ordered to "KvareliMmmsheni" LTD by transport company. Mamuka Kobakhidze, an executive director of the company, said that the project was elaborated and after winning the tender , the abovementioned company took responsibility for the implementation of the project.

According to Kobakhidze, "KvareliRemmsheni" LTD confirmed theability for the implementation of the project, but yesterday"s day showed that there were flaws in Varketili subway as the so called suspended ceiling collapsed

According to him, the investigation will determine whether the error was made at the design level or at the construction level.
