The environmentalists protest the construction of the hotel on the turtle lake slope. "Partisan gardeners" noticed the construction works on the territory and informed the City Hall"s s hotline.

"Constructions are forbidden in this area," said Mariam Bakradze, a member of "Partisan Gardeners".

The Supervision Service suspended the works temporarily.

"The works are suspended at this time and we will not be able to investigate everything," said Giorgi Bagrationi, head of Tbilisi City Hall Supervision Service.

The representative of the company says that the construction permit was issued by the City Hall Architecture Service in 2015 and the plants are not destroyed.
