Minister of Defense of Georgia pays first official visit to Romania this year. His Romanian counterpart hosted Levan Izoria. The Ministers held a face-to-face meeting, which continued in the extended format. The sides discussed the issues of strengthening the Black Sea region security.

" A number of activities are planned, including concrete steps in regard to active participation of Romania in the Black Sea region as well as with active involvement in the process of Georgia," said Levan Izoria.

After the meeting, the Defense Ministers of Georgia and Romania signed a bilateral cooperation plan.
