The Public Defender"s Office will monitor the investigation of the attack on Rustavi 2 employees.

Due to violence against journalists, the Public Defender calls on the government to react.

The main human rights defender of the country demands timely and objective investigation and granting the relevant qualification to the crime.

"The Public Defender will keep track of the fact that the investigation will be conducted in a timely manner, that the relevant qualificaton is given to attack pn journalists and all persons are held responsible,"-said Nino Lomjaria.
