Mikheil Saakashvili accuses Bidzina Ivanishvili and the National Statistics Office of Georgia of data falsification. The leader of United National Movement criticized the state agency after the Geostat had corrected the old data on the number of citizens and radically changed it. The old data shows that during the nine years of Saakashvili"s presidency, more people have returned to Georgia than left the country. However as a result of recount it appeared that the number of citizens was decreasing every year from 2004 to 2012 .

The leader of UNM claims that number of those citizens, who have left the country increased since Bidzina Ivanishvili and his team came into power.
The GeoStat replaced the data to cover this situation. Saakashvili says that it is Ivanishvili"s struggle with Soviet methods.
