The Georgian Patriarchate declares boycott to Rustavi 2. The Patriarchate releases a statement regarding the broadcasting company and calls on the clergy and the parish to stop communication with "Rustavi 2", not give comments and not participate in programs.

The Patriarchate also appeals to international organizations and authorities in Georgia and asks to adopt an appropriate policy, to avoid the threat of development of uncontrollable processes.

The statement of the Patriarchate states that "Rustavi 2"s programs are "cynical and insolent."
