January 3, 6, 8, 9 and 10 declared holidays in Georgia

By decree of the Government of Georgia, January 3, 6, 8, 9 and 10 have been declared holidays. The Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, signed the decree today, December 24.

According to the document, the administrative body determines the services/employees within its system under its jurisdiction to whom this decree will not apply if the performance of their functions is an urgent necessity for the exercise of state power and the normal functioning of society.

The holidays will not apply to the services and employees of the administrative bodies, the functions of which are of “urgent necessity” for exercising state power and the normal functioning of the society, as well as to state procurements and financial obligations of entities supervised by the National Bank.
