The police detained several young people who put up posters about Russian aggression on Rustaveli Avenue. Civil activists have decided to spread news proclamations during the active tourist season.
Young people began with information stickers demonstrating that Russia occupied 20 percent of Georgian territories. But their civic activity has been punished. The police took them for questioning for the distorting the appearance of the capital city.
It is not clear for the opposition why the anti-occupation posters are so annoying for the government.
Members of the majority say that Russia is an occupant, it is already known to everyone, and so its reminder, even with little stickers is not necessary.
Because of the distorting of the capital"s appearance, the police have already begun the administrative proceedings against civil activists.
