Candidates for the 6th presidential election in Georgia will soon be officially known.

However, according to the current information, Grigol Vashadze will fight for the position of the country"s first person as the candidate of the United Opposition and will be named by 10 parties tomorrow.

Another candidate will be David Bakradze from European Georgia.

Labor Party leader Shalva Natelashvili has also made a statement about running for the post of the country"s first person.

At this stage, the President did not make any statement. However, it is likely that one of the candidates will be Giorgi Margvelashvili.

Another intrigue is related to the Georgian Dream candidate.

According to Courieri, the ruling party will probably not name anyone but will support one of the independent candidates, Salome Zurabishvili.

As for the date of elections, according to the constitution, no later than 60 days before the elections Giorgi Margvelashvili should nominate the date of presidential elections.
