Leaders of the ruling team do not deny the connection of the "Georgian Dream" with Sam Patten. Member of parliamentary majority Giorgi Volsky confirmed that Sam Patten was lobbying for Bidzina Ivanishvili"s party.

According to him, Irakli Alasania introduced Sam Patten to the leader of "Georgian Dream", but before that he was "a shadow manager" of Mikheil Saakashvili.

According to Volsky, the agreement with the Sam Paten was really signed, but soon it was disrupted.

"Mikheil Saakashvili fell into a very difficult situation because Sam Patten said he was the shadow manager of Saakashvili and his political party. This is quite a bold statement and the first question that foreign journalists asked Saakashvili were connected with this information.
