Two major amendments have been officially registered in the report on Georgia in the European Parliament.
It is already known that European lawmakers have registered two main changes - one regarding Bidzina Ivanishvili"s informal governance and another regarding government"s pressure on Rustavi 2.
"Georgian Dream" confirms that they do not agree with these changes. Leader of the European Socialist Party, Sergei Stanishev, lobbied for the "Dream" position, who acknowledged that he opposes acute formulas of the document.
Members of the Georgian opposition today responded to the European Parliament member from Brussels. Salome Samadashvili and Giorgi Kandelaki reminded him of the period when he categorically opposed sanctions against Russia.
The amendments to the European Parliament"s report will be reflected in the project report by the end of September.
