The General Auditor made the first comment on the doctors` donations to Salome Zourabichvili, the presidential candidate supported by the Georgian Dream.

According to Irakli Mekvabishvili, the Audit Office has already addressed the City Court and now the data is being checked.

Whether specific violations had place about donations, will be known in the nearest future.

"We are carrying out a very detailed monitoring of all financial transactions and we have applied to the court because we do not have direct access to personal information," he said, adding that when it comes to receiving this information from the court,concrete donaters will have to prove the sources of income.
