The President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili met with NGOs- OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegations and European Parliamentarians.

Giorgi Margvelashvili thanked the international organizations for observing the election process and stressed the role and importance of Georgian and international NGOs in the country"s democratization and development process.

The meeting touched upon the forthcoming presidential elections and pre-election environment as well as the quality of democracy development in the country.

Pikria Chikhradze, the adviser to the President of Georgia, said after the meeting that they discussed with the observation delegation the shortcomings that were identified during the pre-election period.
